Perhaps the best way you can support Heath is by making a financial contribution to his ADC Commissary account. All donations are greatly appreciated & Heath will be notified by the ADC of the person making the contribution.

Supporters of Heath, including those that maintain this web site, are not compensated in any way and contribute their own time and funds to provide the information you are reading now. Heath is not allowed to be compensated in any way for any of the interviews or stories that are published about him. Heath does not earn a pay check while in prison. Heath does not have the support of any celebrities or "big money" people. It is those that have compassion for someone that has suffered too many abuses that are his main supporters.

Every inmate in the Arkansas Department of Corrections has a commissary fund. The amounts in the fund are used to purchase necessary hygiene items (shampoo, soap, deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brush), additional clothing items (boots, winter gloves, work gloves, socks, underwear, thermal clothes), food items (coffee, wheat bread, V8 juice, soda, vitamins, nuts, granola bars, snacks, ice cream, ramen noodles) and things like stamped envelopes, paper and other writing supplies. These are all items that we take for granted every day but make a huge difference in the quality of life for an inmate. Inmates are fed powdered eggs, cabbage, beans and boiled chicken on a regualar basis and it wasn't until recently that the ADC allowed so many items to be purchased.

Heath is considering taking some educational correspondence classes designed for inmates from an accredited university. Funds donated to his commissary account would be used for these classes. This would help him to gain skills necessary for him to become gainfully employed should he be granted clemency at point in time.

You can now donate directly to an inmates commissary account online with Visa, Master Card or Discover credit cards for a 5% fee. This is done at the Arkansas Department of Correction Inmate Banking Service web site.

Heath has received support from a new (soon to be famous) author, Kathie Anne Clark. Her new book "Searching for Simplicity" just made it's debut and she has generously offered to donate a portion of the book sales from this site to Heath's commissary account.

Heath said he read her book the same day he got it. Heath says the book is definitely worth buying and had these comments:
